IN WITH A NEW BAG - LOOKING AT 2024 BAG TRENDS
As the saying goes "Out with the old, in with the new" and what better way to start the new year off but with a NEW bag. Everyone loves a new bag especially a real, full grain leather one with an affordable price tag ;-) At Crazy Cow Leatherware we have just that.
Ok, so the new year has begun and it’s always fun to look at the trends for 2024. This year there are a lot of trends to keep an eye on as we look at what’s set to be hot or not. At Crazy Cow we are not big on trends as we are in our own class but we do like to keep our crazy eye on what’s going on in the world of handbags. Trends put forward new ideas and create opportunities. It gives us insight and guides us in our own crazy world to come up with the best leather products to bring to the table. That being said, let me take you through our top 5 favourite handbag trends that we have been working on:
1. Bigger Is Better
The oversized tote is always a winner and is starting off strong for 2024. We don’t want to think what we can or cannot bring in our bags. These bags are stylish and practical, with plenty of space. A great bag for students, business ladies and busy moms on the move. So, get ready for our biggest and best tote to hit this year.
2. Mini Minimalist
On the other hand, super small mini bags are making a comeback. Not very practical but adds some fun to your look. Perfect for a night out or for those who prefer a minimalist look. Its going to be crazy small but its not going to go unnoticed this year.
3. The Bucket Bag Comeback
This is one of my favourites for this year and we are super excited to be adding a bucket bag to our ever-growing cow collection. A timeless bag, which I think is going to be a wardrobe staple and just goes-with-everything. So, keep a look out for this crazy cow making its debut.
4. Sculptural Shapes
Expect to see bags in unconventional shapes this year. Round bags are coming in strong for 2024 and going to be a must-have for all the bold types looking to stand out. Its all about fun this year and we at Crazy Cow are all about that!
5. Clutch It
These come in many shapes and sizes this year. A simple and practical companion for everyday activities. Easy to pick up and go! We do love our clutches at Crazy Cow and look forward to bringing out some more clutch appeal this year.
These are just a few things that we have been working on and will be launching this year, together with some other customer wants ;-) We have had a lot of requests for laptop bags and have been quietly working on those which we hope to bring out in mid-March. Backpacks have also cracked the list. Onwards and upwards we go in 2024.
Whether it is a big bag or small bag, colours will be the thing! 2024 is definitely going to be a bright and fun year with handbag colours. There will be many choices for everyone to show who they are through their bags.
Regarding colour – the new year is shaping up to be one of the boldest yet. Cherry red is looking hot – so if your bag collection lacks a nice little pop of colour, bright red is the way to go. Blue is also looking fresh for this year. A vivid and lively colour that inspires a feeling of energy and freshness.
Bright and vibrant colours will be a big trend for handbags. Many women want handbags in bright colours like blue, red, pink and yellow. These colours are fun and stand out and we are all about that. It shows confidence and personality.
Classic neutrals will be very popular for handbags. Colours like black, white, beige and grey as they go well with any outfit. Simple and stylish, and will be good for a long time.
Pastels are also looking popular as they are more-gentle and pretty, look out for light pink, light blue, soft purple and minty green.
So many choices this year and there will be a bag for everyone… YAY! To bring the look in 2024, you are going to want to grab yourself a new crazy cow bag because life is definitely more fun with a crazy cow by your side.
